Dr. Allen, a lifelong resident of Long Island, has been fully dedicated to serving his community. Growing up in Commack, a charming town on the picturesque North Shore of Long Island, he developed a profound passion for healthcare. Driven by this passion, he pursued a Dual Major in Psychology and Biochemistry at Stony Brook University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude, showcasing his exceptional academic prowess.

Embarking on his medical journey, Dr. Allen chose the renowned New York College of Osteopathic Medical School, known for its exceptional emphasis on Primary Care and Preventative Medicine. Excelling in his studies, he achieved remarkable scores on all three parts of his Medical School Board Exams, placing him in the prestigious 99th percentile. Dr. Allen's commitment to academic excellence was consistently recognized, earning him a place on the Dean's List and a founding member of the esteemed Phi Alpha Sigma National Honor Society.

Securing his first choice in the competitive National Medical Residency Match Program, Dr. Allen joined the esteemed Primary Care Track Internal Medicine Residency Program at North Shore University Hospital. This highly sought-after program caters to physicians who provide exceptional primary care and disease prevention. After completing his residency training in 2002, Dr. Allen demonstrated his expertise by passing the American Board of Internal Medicine Exams with the highest possible score. This remarkable achievement ranked him among the country's top 10 percent of internists, solidifying his reputation as a highly skilled and knowledgeable physician. Dr. Allen is an esteemed attending physician at both Huntington Hospital and St. Catherine's Hospital in Smithtown. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, he holds the esteemed position of Assistant Clinical Professor at both Hofstra North Shore-LIJ Medical School and the New York College of Osteopathic Medical School.
